Bangladesh is our homeland. it is a land of rivers. The big rivers of Bangladesh are the Padma the Meghna, the Jamuna and the Brahmaputra. In the rainy season. they become large. Water overflows the banks and runs over the field. But in winter, they become dry. The rivers wash the fields. it makes our soil fertile. our farmers can easily dig the land. We get water from our rivers. Thus our rivers help us to grow much crops. Various kinds of fishes live in our rivers. The fishermen eatch the fishes and self them to us. They earn a lot of money. Fishes are very tasteful. Every Bangladeshi likes to eat fish. So fish is our second food.
